I enjoy untangling complexity

For more than a decade, I’ve designed and evolved enterprise software that helps people accomplish complicated work without having to think about the software itself.

I started as a hands-on UX designer and grew into a product design leader, but I still enjoy working directly in the details—mapping workflows, shaping product structure, and refining interactions. I’m most energized by work that combines product thinking, systems design, and close collaboration with engineering and business teams.

I’m especially interested in senior product design and design leadership roles where I can help teams navigate ambiguity, improve complex products, and raise the quality of how design work gets delivered.

How I Think About Design

These principles help me make decisions when requirements are complicated, opinions differ, and the right answer is not immediately obvious.

01 / Good design gets out of the way

The best interfaces help people focus on the work they came to do rather than the mechanics of the product.

02 / Start with the problem

Understanding what needs to be solved matters more than rushing toward a polished solution.

03 / Consistency builds confidence

People should be able to apply what they learn in one part of a product everywhere else..

04 / Respect familiar patterns

Users should not have to relearn common interactions unless a new approach provides a meaningful benefit.

05 / Give users control

Support different ways of working while keeping the experience understandable, predictable, and recoverable.

How My Role Evolved

UX Designer

Building the foundation

I focused on hands-on product design, information architecture, workflow definition, and the StaffingNation 2.0 rebuild. This period shaped how I approach complex systems and long-term product foundations.

Senior UX Designer

Expanding the product

As StaffingNation grew, I took ownership of increasingly complex workflows across clients, vendors, candidates, workers, and internal teams. My role expanded from designing individual experiences to helping define how the product itself should work.

Product Design Manager

Scaling quality and delivery

I moved into team leadership while continuing to shape product strategy, platform modernization, and design systems. I also introduced clearer design processes and AI-assisted workflows to improve how ideas moved from discovery through delivery.

What I Bring

Deep enterprise UX experience

More than a decade designing software with complex workflows, permissions, data, and business rules.

Cross-functional product leadership

Close collaboration with product, engineering, operations, executives, and subject-matter experts.

Long-term product ownership

Experience evolving one platform through foundational redesigns, major expansion, and continued modernization.

Mentoring and team development

Experience helping designers strengthen their thinking, communicate clearly, and deliver higher-quality work.

Hands-on design and systems thinking

The ability to move between detailed interaction design and the broader structures that keep a product coherent.
